Your Opportunity

Calling all product marketers with strong technical backgrounds and a real

passion for SaaS technology! New Relic is looking for a Product Marketing

Manager to support our Account Experience product team.

This fast-growing Account Experience Platform team uses their expertise in

pricing, subscription usage, identity and access management, and full-stack

engineering to make it easy for our customers to buy and use New Relic

products, and enable our internal partners in finance, marketing, sales, and

support. The Product Marketing Manager will develop the go-to market strategy

for our new account experience capabilities, and will enable these internal

partners to execute that strategy to drive product adoption and usage.

New Relic s data platform supports the entire New Relic platform. With our

data platform s scale and breadth growing every year, we need a strong

performer Product Marketer who can help us communicate the benefits of the data

platform clearly and compellingly to our customer base and prospects.

This role is based out of our beautiful Portland, Oregon office. San Francisco,

CA is also an option for location.

What You ll Do

* Youll develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our

core audiences: developers, IT Operations, and application owners, as

well as economic buyers and decision-makers including CIOs and CTOs

* You will drive go-to-market strategy for your product, and plan & execute

launches in partnership with the launch management team

* Youll translate complex technical topics into simple marketing concepts

for diverse technical and non-technical audiences, turning deep and raw

technical information into clear, easily-consumable, high-impact content

that brings the value prop home

* You will enable the sales teams by developing collateral and training

materials that bring the product positioning to life with compelling

narratives that are grounded in customer stories

* You will join the product manager to build thought leadership and be a

subject matter expert on Identity and Access management, data management

and pricing in the company.

* You will understand and anticipate the impact of market, customer,

technology, and high-reaching trends on New Relic s business models

over the next several years.

* You will provide thought and drive execution on monetization and data

management initiatives in partnership with the Product Management and

Deal Strategy & Monetization teams.

* You will partner with marketing to create engaging content such as

datasheets, eBooks, whitepapers, presentations, and webinars

* You will perform market and daring research and analysis, and develop

strategies that bolster New Relic s position in the market

* You will increase product usage and adoption among your key user bases,

in close partnership with our product and technical evangelists, sales,

and customer success

* You will serve as a strong inspiring leader, and the overall portfolio,

both internally and externally, through events like sales kickoffs,

industry conferences and the like

Your Qualifications


* 3-5 years of related experience in marketing, business, or writing about

highly technical products; validated depth of technical and domain

expertise, and ideally previous development experience in SaaS software

* Bachelor s degree in marketing, business administration, or other

related fields

* Strong examples of crafting differentiated, provocative and compelling

dev-focused positioning/marketing content

* Marketing experience with SaaS products, especially in enterprise

software for developers

* Experience talking with developers and operations users, and a deep

understanding of what makes them tick

* Proven written and verbal interpersonal skills


* MBA in marketing, IT, or related disciplines

* Know what DevOps users demand of their monitoring and observability
