Temporary Expediter/Buying Assistant
Our client is looking for an assertive and outgoing individual with strong telephone skills and who is comfortable and productive calling suppliers and working through an expediting list. Expediting experience would be a strong advantage but someone who has Telesales experience within Engineering or Manufacturing industries would be considered.
Strong IT skills essential, particularly Excel and you will be adaptable and able to immediately pick up new software including Sage.
You will use Outlook to email suppliers and Sage to look up and update supplier contact details and purchase order confirmation information and delivery dates.
The ideal candidate will have Procurement/Purchasing experience and a Manufacturing background with professional experience and education.
You will be available for at least 2 weeks and there could be a permanent position for the right candidate.
Hours of work are 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
