We are working with a market leading and highly regarded fresh food business who are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager for a progressive area of their business.

This is a great opportunity to advance your buying career and to take on full site procurement responsibilities as well.

The Job:

Reporting into the Site GM, you will be responsible for developing the category strategies across their business divisions.

Working in an area with both high rates of growth and rapid R&D you will be responsible for sourcing new products and suppliers as appropriate, depending on the needs of the business.

Stakeholder management is key in this role, you will need to develop relationships with brand ambassadors.

Working with the commercial and development teams to assess the business requirements and ensuring these are serviced.

The Candidate:

Experience of sourcing food ingredients and packaging will be essential.

You will have proven negotiation skills and be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

You will need to have strong influencing skills backed up by passion and confidence in what you are doing.

Domestic travel will be a key part of the role, so you must be flexible on this.
