About the Job

GBL Systems Corporation is a leading system engineering and software development firm with a 28-year history of developing tomorrows Electronic Warfare capability today. We specialize in the areas of Systems/Software Engineering, Electronic Warfare, Network Centric Warfare, Modeling/ Simulation and Avionics Development. .

GBL is based in Camarillo, CA. with many opportunities on base at Pt. Mugu NAS. Work location at GBL office in Camarillo, CA or Pt Mugu, CA depending on position.

Qualified candidates should have an understanding of system security, networks, web-based product implementations and configuration management processes. Successful applicants should have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all management levels, the personality to support team goals and the ability to work independently without close supervision. Applicants should exhibit strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills.

SECRET clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work that involves planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems planning

- Scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software

- Managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment;

- Managing systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability

- Implementing security procedures and tools

- Developing and documenting systems administration standard operating procedures

- Resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems; ensuring systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency

- Maintaining systems configuration

- Managing the installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, and enhancements.

- Must have an expert level background in Systems Administration, Network Administration and Information Assurance

- SharePoint experience desired

Job Qualifications:

- At least three-five years experience

- Associates degree required, Bachelors degree desired in Engineering, Computer Science. Mathematics or another technical field

- Certification required: Security + and Operating Systems

- Obtain SharePoint 2013 Site Collection and Site Administration within 6 months
