This position will report to the Repair Station Manager, the

successful candidate will:

Ensure the Part 145 repair station is in compliance with all

applicable regulatory requirements manufacturer recommendations.

Manage planning and development of quality standards methods &

procedures used by the repair station in complying with all applicable

regulatory requirements and ensure effective utilization of labor

materials.

Maintain working relationships with local regulatory authorities, OEMS

& vendors to make sure the repair stations continued growth successful

daily operation.

Establish procedures for completing maintaining and filing all

inspection forms documents used by the repair station.

Establish training programs to continually upgrade employees

technical capabilities and knowledge of governing procedures

regulations requirements.

Promote and foster departmental goals and objectives. Explain and

reinforce the company values goals to employees with an emphasis on

safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Manage Repair Station Quality for Part 145/EASA approved repair

station Inspection/Engineering staff (hiring/firing, training,

setting up organization and process)

* Management Representative in AS9100 Management Review Process.

* Lead internal Quality Management Systems audits and present

results to Senior Leadership Team

* Develop and mature a Quality Scorecard of key business metrics:

DPPM, FPY, Quality documents etc.

* Chair Material Review Board for repairs and subcontracts,

dispositions on in-process and supplier products

* Develop Cost of Poor Quality metrics and systems/processes to

collect, analyze them.

* Chair Corrective Action Board for repair station

* Lead internal and external (supplier) quality performance reviews

and drive improvement actions

* Own Quality to Quality relationships, communication, improvement

discussions with customer and supplier counterparts, as well as

Quality reviews and benchmarking with sister facilities.

* Mentor the repair station organization in advanced quality tools:

FMEA, 8D, LPA

Complementary description

EDUCATION & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in engineering field)

preferred and or 10+ years experience and knowledge holding the

title of repair station quality manager

* Process improvement, AS9100, IPC-610 and FAA MIDO/FSDO process

* Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS

Office

* Ability to make compliance decisions, understand statistical

inference, lead and coach the team to achieve results

* Strong presentation, delegation, persuasion skills

* Former DMIR/RTS (Return to Service) capabilities a plus

* Quality Contract review skills

* Knowledge of Advanced Quality Management Systems: AS9100/ISO

9001, NADCAP, FAA FSDO/MIDO/ACO

* Ability to hold Chief Inspector position of FAA Repair Station,

write oversee quality delegation for RTS 8130-3 Tags
