The Company:

Our client is a Regional Main contractor, turning over in excess of £100m, many of their projects range between £3m to £8m covering a variety of sectors from Commercial, Care Homes and Education. They are currently looking to recruit freelance Site Manager.


Site Manager to oversee a School roof replacement and refurbishment to a sports hall and small extension to create new changing rooms, value £1million, due to the duration the school will be open during part of the works, a DBS check is essential.

You would have a DBS check in date or alternatively have a clean criminal record for a DBS check to be carried out prior to starting on site.

The Role:

Site Manager will be overseeing build and refurbishment works, whilst working around a live environment (when term starts), whilst managing a number of subcontractors, health and safety and all associated paper work, must have good communication / personable skills as you will be liaising closely with the client, whilst reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.

Essential Skills / Requirements:

* Site Managers must have relevant CSCS, SMSTS certificate and First Aid certificate.

* You would have experience as a No.1 Site Manager running projects from inception to completion.

* You would ideally have a DBS check in date or have a clean criminal record for a DBS check to be undertaken.
