Job Overview:Covance is seeking a Data Reviewer for its Greenfield, IN site.Reviews data for accuracy and compliance to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols and regulatory guidelines. Maintains and expands knowledge of regulatory requirements, protocol requirements, SOP requirements, and client requirements. Responds to Quality Assurance inspection reports. Maintains error tracking data in support of departmental improvement efforts.

Reviews data to ensure quality standards are met and to verify compliance to applicable SOP and regulatory requirements.

May performs necropsy and/or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory guidelines.

Monitors animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance.

Maintains and seeks to expand a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. GLPs), SOP requirements, and other guidance documents.

Applies existing knowledge to data review tasks.

Utilizes knowledge of Toxicology Data Collection and Reporting System for review of electronic data.

Understands and interprets complex protocols

Responds to QA inspection report findings related to review of data.

Assists co-workers and internal customers with interpretation and understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GLPs), SOP requirements, and other guidance documents, as applicable.

Maintains a working knowledge of client SOPs and requirements. Applies knowledge to data review tasks.

Reports all animal care concerns and becomes involved in the resolution and appropriate corrective action, when necessary

Collects error tracking data for items reviewed.

Promotes a cohesive team environment.

Performs other related duties as assigned.Education/Qualifications:Bachelorsor Associates degree with 2 years experiencein Life Science. Experience may substitute for educationExperience:1-2 years related experience
