Job Overview:We areis seeking to fill a Global IT Hardware Inventory Specialistin Burlington, NC. This role will support all of LabCorp Holdings.A multi-disciplinary position supporting the end user IT hardware and peripheral inventory management and replenishment functions worldwide. Will be primary POC for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements within a very large and acquisition heavy organization.This is a global inventory management position and requires 5-7 years experience in IT hardware procurement or inventory management.Will work closely with Business Relationship Managers, IT Logistics inventory management, project teams, desktop engineering, and support groups to ensure Business As Usual, Project, and Integration timeliness and goals are met consistently and with a customer centric focus.Will be responsible for analysis of reports requiring application skills in several functional areas. Vendor management skills are required. Strong analytical skills combined with well-developed Excel skills are required. PeopleSoft and Splunk experience is a plus.Education/Qualifications:Usually requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject and experience.Experience:

Global inventory experience required

5-7 years of progressive experience in an operational or IT environment with an emphasis around inventory and vendor management and administrative support

Experience with PeopleSoft Inventory and Purchasing Modules and ServiceNow highly desired

Knowledge of inventory management to include replenishment.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills desired

Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks based on the needs of stakeholders

Ability to leverage data analysis and problem solving skill sets. Must be highly organized with an ability to manage multiple high level activities concurrently

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience with people and processes with the ability to interact professionally with various levels within the organization
