About the Position:



Senior Systems Engineers for Global Alliances are a critical component of the sales team in region and have a primary responsibility to assist Alliances Account Managers/Directors with the technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Systems Engineers have in-depth experience with Juniper solutions and architectures, products and services of our client as well as competitors products and services, and can demonstrate solid internetworking and skills to customers and business partners. Working as one of our Global Alliances Systems Engineers, your technical experience will support the assigned sales objectives, and you will serve as a fundamental technical resource for our regional sales effort, being able to drive sales and prepare for the Cloud transformation of Juniper most relevant Business *********** return, we can offer a range of benefits and superb career progression.



Responsibilities:



Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertise and support for key Partners in the region. Develop strong technical relationships at the highest levels within the partner organization.

Develop the necessary training and presentation material for the regular tech updates of the partners in the region, based on the corporate initiatives. Participate in the update events with the partners and enable the local Juniper Systems Engineers to deliver the tech updates for other partners.

Work with Alliances Sales Managers/Directors to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities together with the Partners; if needed in cooperation with the local Juniper sales team.

Lead an independent and complementary technical sales initiative to embed Juniper technologies and components in the Alliances market facing solutions and offers.

Collaborate with the Global Systems Engineering, COE and global solution development initiatives with the regional alliances and partners.

Develop technical expertise within the Global Alliances SE community by delivering leading edge technical presentations and training on the company products and solutions. Provide a local communication platform for SE community utilizing social media and other collaboration tools.

Drive the Alliances technical sales motion and innovative networking solutions in strategic opportunities, seek for replicable solutions and broadcast these solutions in the Alliances SE community.

Contribute to the development of Partner account plans with the channel team and leverage the account plans to further achieve business and revenue objectives.

Focus on customer and alliances driven solutions rather selling point products



Minimum Qualifications:



The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, business development acumen, a well-developed technical aptitude, the ability to work successfully as part of a team and alone. Must be able to communicate effectively with the sales team and partners in different cultural environments with passion and patience.

He/she must demonstrate exceptional initiative and creativity in the development of technical solutions for complex situations. Must possess the ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and solution concepts to partners sales and technical staff. Must be able to utilize modern tools of communication, like social media, webcast and collaboration tools.

If you have:

Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer

Knowledge of Junipers product line and technologies - Juniper certifications

Possess broad overall industry experience and technical knowledge as well as subject -matter expertise

Experience in the networking Industry and Bachelors Degree in Engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent

Understanding of the emerging cloud architectures and the integration points for physical and virtual CPE, switching and routing technologies

Expert level knowledge of common networking protocols and applications such as Security, Data Centre, SDN and Cloud technologies.

Ability to work with Channel Managers/Directors and Customers within the context of a competitive sales environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills including ability to present in front of large audiences

Ability to travel, including US and Europe.
