- Oversees the selection, orientation, development, and retention of a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out the responsibilities of the sales function. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.

- Meets established sales quotas.

- Supervises several District Managers assigned to the division.

- Responsible for designing and supporting a learning environment to develop current employees to be effective in their positions and prepare them for advancement.

- Responsible for routinely working with Division Managers and Territory Managers in the field to assess their capabilities.

- Responsible for providing timely feedback on customer requirements and issues affecting the hospital market.

- Responsible for planning and monitoring progress of the District Managers and Territory Managers in the region to successfully achieve and exceed annual sales goals.

- Establish and manage Regional Field Sales operating budget.

- Assist Vice President of Sales in meeting department goals.


- Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook

- Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, professionalism, coaching, and team building

- Strong listening and assessment skills

- Strong questioning and problem-solving skills

- Bachelors Degree required

- 3-5 years of Sales Management level experience required
