Job Title: Account Manager UK & Northern Europe

TWC Recruitment are looking to appoint an Account Manager UK & Northern Europe for a global supplier of railway track maintenance and construction solutions. With a broad range of high quality equipment, cutting-edge technology, and worldwide support.

JOB PURPOSE

Generating new business in the assigned area. Contribute to EMEA sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Develop Account Plans, including Novelty, Aftermarket and Recurring Product Opportunities

Build successful relationships with key customers throughout the sales area

Identification of potential business partners in local markets

Effective cooperation with our technical support to maintain customer satisfaction and customer productivity;

Monitoring and controlling sales as well as commercial aspects in the context of tenders

Monitor, direct and accelerate business opportunities within the Sales, Engineering and Business Development teams to deliver rapid response, accurate technical appraisal and best possible suggestions to the customer to maximize profit likelihood;

Close cooperation with our value-added resellers, agents and other partners, for product delivery management, product quality, parts supply, service level and other product and service requirements;

Developing the growth opportunities of the product line in Europe with existing (UTV, Grinder) and new products;

Collecting and analyzing market data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Management;

Development and management of project plans until successful completion;

Competency

Basic Qualifications

Education/Experience

A relevant degree or equivalent experience within a similar or rail industry.

Project Management qualification and experience.

Language skills – Business French, conversational German preferable.

Preferred Qualifications

A. Education or Experience

* Degree in Business, Accounting, or Engineering

* 3+ years’ experience in railroad, heavy equipment or construction equipment / Service sales

* Experience in Project Management

* Bid Management exposure

B. Interpersonal Skills

* Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical data

* Ability to write in a clear and concise manner

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

* Ability to effectively coach others.

C. Technical Skills

* Computer skills

* Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Mathematical skills

D. Other Skills

* Ability to effectively plan and organize

* Ability to travel

Essential Qualifications

The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual

The ability to read and understand documents and drawings

The ability to work cooperatively with others

The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers

The ability to perform several tasks at once

The ability to follow direction or instruction
