We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well established manufacturing company based in Chichester.

As a talented and dynamic Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the overall coordination, management and leadership of approx 25-30 live external projects from POS to final account close, reporting to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities and duties of this role..

* To manage, through the collection and utilisation of Management Information from the day to day activities of all live projects and the sub contract teams ensuring the business objectives are successfully met.

* To allow and control the continuous smooth flow of all projects running concurrently through all phases with in depth knowledge, at all times, of the status of any of their projects in each department and the challenges to be overcome.

* To organise and provide reports for directors and own use, of progress in design, purchasing, production, installation and instigate the next step by step activity in each silo to progress the construction to completion on time, in budget and to the required quality standards.

* To take responsibility for, make and deliver operational decisions, where the interests of all relevant parties are considered and met for the successful completion of each project within your responsibility to the agreed standards.

* To be in control of any activity which has an impact on the pre-set budgets, positively or negatively, and have final responsibility for and authorise that activity to happen with full knowledge of the expected result financially.

* To manage projects within programmed time frame per department through meeting and discussing with all silos daily/weekly as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes...

* Construction Industry knowledge and experience is key for the role.

* Ability to simultaneously control and manage multiple projects across multiple sites.

* Ability to control sub contract teams

* Exceptional project planning, organising and co-ordination skills for both short and medium-term projects and all associated phases.

* Knowledge and experience in using appropriate methodologies for construction-based project management, such as Gantt charts.

* Preparation and presentation of board reports, reporting on project progress from concept to launch/installation

* Good communication skills, with the ability for

* SMSTS Certified is essential

* IPAF Certified ideally

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Must be able to travel to customer sites on a monthly basis


* Hours of work Monday - Friday 07:00am - 4:30pm (can be flexible)

* 20 days holiday + 8 days statutory
