Chartered Quantity Surveyor | Permanent Role


Established in 1982 our client is a leading independent practice of construction professionals. Believing in delivering a personal service and achieving clients trust and commitment. This practice provides construction consultancy at various levels including particular expertise in Quantity Surveying and Cost consultancy as well as Project Management and Lead Consultancy.

Working within the Chartered Surveying and Project Management department reporting directly to the team leader and a commission director, your responsibilities will include cost planning, cost advice, assisting with contractual advice/claims, preparing contract documents, as well as:

• Administrative duties (project support for meetings, minutes, progress reports etc.)

• Feasibility/financial appraisals

• Project approach and procurement advice

• Pre-tender estimates

• Measurement and taking off

• Preparing tender documentation/tender evaluation

• Assessments and advice for post contract variations

• Cost reporting and forecasting

• Preparation of Valuations of works on site

• Final account preparation

• Independent project, cost monitoring and auditing

• Support to building surveyors for cost estimating for asset planning reports and dilapidation's

In order to be successful in the role you will process:

• Experience within Project Management, Employers Agent and Contract Administrator roles

• Minimum of 5 years MRICS qualification experience

• Confident hands on approach

• Ability to work to high standards with independence

• Full UK driving license with business-use insurance

• Advanced/Intermediate skills with Microsoft packages


• Microsoft Project experience
