Our client, who is based in the Public Sector, has a requirement for an Administrator. This role is temporary until December 2019 with a possible extension. Based in the Dumfries area, and attracts a pay rate of £9.56 per hour.

This role requires a current Disclosure Scotland.

Main Duties /Responsibilities

- Handle a high volume workload on a daily basis
- Working as part of a team taking responsibility for correctly identifying and updating individual's registration on system
- To carry out quality assurance work to verify data held on various databases
- Where a person's identity is in doubt you will be expected to trace people using both manual and electronic databases to reach a decision
- Other duties include medical research identifications, control duties, electronic data transfers and mail

Key Skills

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail with the ability to make both objective and subjective decisions based on information gained from all available search tools
- Sound planning and organisational skills including initiative to organise time and prioritise workload to meet agreed deadlines
- To meet agreed guidelines in sharing information with customers, stakeholders and colleagues, working flexibly across the team to get the job done whilst always mindful of confidentiality
- Have clear, concise communication style both written and verbal
- Competent in the use of IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and email
