M&E Quantity Surveyor - Dartford - £60,000 to £65,000 - (phone number removed)

Are you an M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to forge a lasting career with a rapidly expanding Electrical Contractor?

My client are a medium sized Electrical Contractor that focus primarily on the Residential sector, with projects valued up to around £10 million.

They are looking for an accomplished Electrical biased Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team as they take on their largest project to date.

You will lead the commercial team, reporting in directly to the Managing Director but taking the Commercial Lead on all projects, managing junior members of staff.

Duties for an M&E Quantity Surveyor:

* Projects valued up to £8 million

* Completion and submission of PQQs Pre-Contract (EST)

* Take off quantities

* Complete tender documents for submission

* Prepare specifications and / or Contractors proposals

* Submit tenders and follow up

* Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre tender and post contract matters

* Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and / or sub-contractors

* Post contract liaison with clients

* Post contract liaison with design team

* Carry out take offs for material procurement

* Sub-contract negotiation and letting

* Manage and value variations

* Preparation and submission of several works final account

* Agreement of final accounts

Package for an M&E Quantity Surveyor:

* £60,000 to £65,000 per annum

* Pension
