The School

This high-achieving, non-selective secondary school was established in 2012 by one of the world’s leading universities, with a mission to support students of all ability levels to higher levels of attainment and enthusiasm for further study. They are a specialist school in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) taking on the challenge of getting more students enthused and committed to subjects which have historically seen a less diverse student uptake.

Students gained 85% 5 or more A* – C passes at GCSE in 2017 and 78% 5 A*-C (including English and Maths). They are very proud that in recent years over 50% of all GCSE grades are at A or A* which rivals many grammar schools in the local area.
