Kitchen & Bedroom Sales/Design Consultant
Competitive Salary and Commission structure allied to sales achieved.

This specialised and exciting role encompasses three key components:
1. Customer Relationship Building & Approval
2. Design, Presentation, Sales, Contract & Close
3. Project Contact, Communication & Supervision, Performance Monitoring, Customer Satisfaction and Job Fulfilment.

1. Customer Relationship Building & Approval
Meeting & greeting customers, arranging appointments in and outside of working hours, surveying customer property (using Kitchen World’s own distinctive survey sheet), assessing and advising customers of the best design based upon their requirements and budget, controlling your customer’s expectations, getting the customer’s approval throughout.

2. Design, Presentation, Sales, Contract & Closing
To produce high quality 2D and 3D drawings on ArtiCAD for presentation to customers as part of the design and sales processes based upon the data collected on Kitchen World’s survey sheet. Pricing and quoting the job through EasyQuote. Presentations to Customers and agreeing designs and prices in preparation for the Sales Contract. Contract explanation and signature.

3. Project Contact, Communication & Supervision, Performance Monitoring, Customer Satisfaction and Job Fulfilment

To liaise with Contractors, Sub-Contractors, The Workshop, Builders, Suppliers/representatives etc., to ensure accurate and timely manufacture, delivery and installation of the Customers Project, in order to final progress payment.

The role is retail orientated and will require you to be able to communicate face to face, by telephone, email and letter to the actual end-user/customer, therefore, good communication skills are a prerequisite to the job.

Essential Requirements:

• Experienced, professional and highly driven, hardworking Sales/Design Consultant
• Design flair and practical sales experience, having designed and sold kitchens between £5,000 - £50,000 price ranges.
• Proven ability to maximise and close sales
• Ability to provide a first class customer service
• The capability to understand customers, their needs, lifestyle and budget,
• The ability to managing customer’s expectations.
• The skill to create a kitchen unique to each customer.
• The aptitude for presenting designs to the customer, coupled with the ability to present a written quotation.
• The knowledge to promote our broad range of products – check our website
• Experience and ability to use CAD software, (we use Articad) to create three-dimensional plans and artistic impressions of the clients kitchen or bedroom.
• Experience of or ability to use industry specific quotation software (we use EasyQuote) – Training will be given to the successful candidate.
• Experience of MS Outlook (emails) and Word.
• Able to build lasting relationships with customers and take real pride in your work.
• A demonstrable attention to detail
• Capability and determination to manage projects all the way through to the end,
• Exercise drive and energy when managing every project sold.
• Passionate, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to lead, develop and create a reputation for a responsive, professional service.
• A positive communicable attitude
• Must have a minimum of one year’s previous experience of working in a similar role in the kitchen industry.
• Full driving licence and own transport essential.

(You will be expected to visit customers’ homes to discuss their requirements, take accurate measurements and evaluate regulatory issues. Therefore, it will be necessary to have your own transport (expenses paid) and a full driving licence.)
