Role: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Role Profile

Salary: £30,000 up to £35,000 + £70k OTE

Hours: 37 hrs weekly

Using the very best technology to deliver IR35 complaint payroll operating solutions to recruitment agencies and end hirers. These solutions reduce risk in the supply chain for agencies and their end clients as well as providing contractors with the full range of complaint payroll options

Role Purpose

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to identify prospect clients by networking, cold calling, or other means of generating interest and plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

Working to improve market position and achieve financial growth the Business Development Manager outlines long-term organisational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Generate new revenue: Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities and follow up on leads provided by marketing

2. You will plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company

3. Drive new customer acquisitions, profitable revenue and increase customer share by building strong customer relationships and brand reputation

4. To develop a rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.

5. Identify and understand sales processes, understand products and needs of services of potential clients.

6. Ensure the sales forecast and pipeline is consistently and accurately maintained

7. Prospect for potential new clients within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.

8. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

9. Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

10. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

11. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate and is accurately entered and managed
