Role: Network Infrastructure Engineer

Rate: £350/day

Location: Bristol

Contract Length: 3-6 Months

My Bristol-based client, who offer Network & Infrastructure provision to Enterprise clients across the UK, are currently looking to hire an Network & Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis with immediate effect.

In this position, the successful Network & Infrastructure Engineer will be required to be part of a large scale project team involving implementation work within core Cisco & Wintel technologies.

You will be required to operate in a fast-paced environment and to act under pressure to strict time limits.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Support, Install and Administer IT Systems
Assist with all IT Infrastructure-related implementation projects
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues
Deal with escalation issues at 3rd Line Support
Maintain the security and stability of the core IT Systems
Take the lead on all upgrade and migration projects ondoing and upcoming

Essential Skills

Cisco Routing & Switching
Next generation Firewall knowledge
Windows Server 2012 / 2016
Active Directory / Group Policy
Azure (nice to have)
