My client is looking for an Educaiton Support Worker for an independent Educational Institution in Edinburgh.

The candidate would be required to support the Head Teacher/Teacher to develop the young person’s support plans by working in partnership with colleagues (within and outwith the service) and by taking personal responsibility for planning how these are delivered effectively and efficiently to service users.

In addition, you'll be required to Assist the Head Teacher/Teacher to ensure that high quality services and best value are delivered to service users by ensuring that all agreed plans are implemented efficiently and effectively. In particular:

a) To provide support for pupils with additional support needs.

b) To assist teaching staff to provide help with meeting education, care and welfare needs

c) To undertake playground/lunchtime supervision

d) Providing relevant support to pupils who have additional support needs
