We have an amazing opportunity available for a Graduate Business Systems Analyst to join a market leading Manufacturing organisation on a fantastic 2-year Graduate Programme which leads to a permanent position.

Role: Graduate Business Systems Analyst

Salary: 26,000 rising to 28,000 at Year 2 of the Graduate Programme

Location: Birmingham - with flexibility to travel

Purpose of the Role:
The company’s UK IT Team deliver all Information Technology services to the business, ensuring these services are secure, highly available, responsive and are delivered to a high level of quality. The team cover all aspects of IT from Service Desk, Support and Operations through to IT architectural design, software development, data services and project delivery. They follow industry leading methodologies such as Prince2, ITIL v3 and TOGAF and work hard to deliver the IT service that the business needs to be the best at what it does. The role requires travel and time away from home throughout the programme from a rotational learning perspective and the delivery of IT support and projects.

Key responsibilities:

End to end design and implementation of Business Systems following approved design, change and project management frameworks.

Deliver Business solutions and requirements in line with the business demands through continuous improvement.

Provide a key link between the business and IT for change implementation, ensuring effective communication within the business are followed.

Identify risks associated with the end to end services around Business Systems and suggest solutions to mitigate said risks.

To provide an analytical resource to deliver changes in line with business needs and the Business Systems strategy.

Become the ‘champion’ in a designated business systems area enabling the business to gain maximum benefit from IT.

Support SLA delivery for Incident Management and Request Fulfilment through provision of expert guidance and support.

Define, document and agree processes that meet the agreed business goals and translate into operational processes within the relevant business systems.

Working as part of the IT team to integrate and align current and future business system projects with the agreed strategy.

Assisting in the resolution of business issues through the effective use of technology.

Identify, configure and implement systems to support the agreed processes and implementation.

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level in an IT related discipline and be passionate about forging a career working within IT. You will have the ability to quickly extract relevant information from large and complex scenarios and appreciate how methodologies can support great customer service.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and be analytical in your approach.
