Description

Are you a Learning Support Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils? Are you passionate about making Education an exciting and social experience for students? Do you have experience working with SEN in children and/or adults?

The Supply Register are working on an exclusive basis with Redhill Multi Academy Trust and their partner academies for all recruitment requirements.

We are recruiting for a learning support assistant to potentially work in one of the academies from September 2019.

The Trust has schools located across Nottinghamshire and have a great relationship with The Supply register for all recruitment needs.

You'll be required to work within schools where pupils may have behaviour issues.

You'll be required to work within schools where pupils may have behaviour issues, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) amongst others.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Helping to build students' confidence and motivation
-Acting as a liaison between tutor and student
-Physically supporting learner, pushing wheelchairs, working with animals and working outside in all weathers
-Supporting learners with managing behaviour and accessing the curriculum
-Ensuring accurate student records are maintained

Requirements

Have a minimum of 1 years' experience within a similar role
Experience with SEN is a must
To lead, manage, develop and maintain high-quality SEN provision which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils
Experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum or learning difficulties
