Are you bored of sitting on the same site day in, day out? I’ve got an opportunity for a travelling instrument technician to join my client on a permanent basis covering across the UK and Northern Europe.

My client is a multi-billion dollar FTSE 250 manufacturer of industrial chemicals and gasses. As a company they have a great history of career progression, alongside being able to offer a generous package for the role.

You will be joining the companies European Field Maintenance division, working hand in hand with manufacturing sites across Europe. The team is comprised of a mix of instrument technicians and engineers who are specialists within the company. Your day to day will vary but the primary work is based on shutdowns, breakdowns and large-scale PPMs.

The successful candidate will require the following:

* Experience of instrument & control maintenance in hazardous areas (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical etc.)

* Experience of fault-finding standard instruments (Pressure, Flow, Temperature etc.) alongside experience of fault-finding PLC and DCS systems.

* Completion of a formal apprenticeship.

* CompEx 01-04.
