We are recruiting for an established manufacturing company based in Walsall, focused on the production of Metal Pressings and Welded Assemblies. You will be directly reporting into the Sales Director, this position offers the opportunity to expand your engineering knowledge and progress within a forward thinking and dynamic business.
We are currently looking to recruit an internal sales person to explore, research and find new business customers for sub contract services. The role will include starting a new process of finding qualified leads and new customers, gaining enquiries which will then be followed up by the technical team. Also promoting the company via, Made in the Midlands and similar network organisations and working with the marketing team to promote sales.
Candidate must have the following:
have excellent communication skills
Have a credible phone manner
ability to work on their own and independently
Have previous sales experience
Numerically literate and possess good IT skills
Have the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of customers and their individual needs, good commercial awareness.
Have knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Linkedin.
Be self-motivated
Have engineering/ manufacturing experience ( particularly within the automotive industry )
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Business Development experience

Daily Duties Include:
- Identify and contact potential new clients
- Qualify leads and make appointments for the technical team
- Report findings and market intelligence to Directors
- Manage the social media accounts for the company such as LinkedIn, You Tube, Facebook and Twitter

Salary – competitive salary depending on experience.
Hours: Monday – Thursday – 9am-5pm
Friday – 9am-2pm
