This amazing permanent Principal Engineer role is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading electronics business in Lincolnshire.

Using your knowledge of test, reliability and analysis on semiconductors you will be a key member within the engineering teams, and the Principal Engineer that fills this position is crucial to the future success of this dynamic company.

You will manage a small engineering team that is responsible for the qualification of new IGBT parts and process within the company. The responsibilities will include managing the team, resources and liaising with production, facilities and QA to align with set targets. In addition, the successful applicant will identify and develop methods and materials to assist in the improvement of IGBT module reliability.

In order for you to be a great success in this role, you will have excellent time management skills and the ability to present data in a meaningful way that gains understanding by a diverse audience. The role will require a ‘hands on’ approach and hence you would be expected to be familiar with all tests and testers to complete any qualification test.

You will have these key skills and had experience in:

* Testing and analysis of parts

* Interpretation of outcomes and failure analysis of submitted parts where required

* Working with and contributing towards projects that may involve teams of specialists and non-specialists both within the R&D Centre and manufacturing groups

* Presenting complex information to colleagues in and outside of the team ensuring that it is appropriate in order to gain the understanding of both technical and non-technical staff

* Research, identification and development of methods and materials to improve the reliability of IGBT modules
