Aspire Cambridge are currently recruiting a Food and Beverage Manager on behalf of our client who are a well-established hotel with a 2 AA rosette restaurant and spa.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a new management team in our soon to be completely refurbished award winning hotel.

Position Summary:

As Food and Beverage Operations Manager you will be involved in the overall strategy and development of the food and beverage department working directly with the General Manager which will include 36 cover restaurant, two bars, lounge, extensive outside terraces and five event rooms. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

Achieve hotel revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals for the food and beverage operation.
Direct the food and beverage operations team to ensure both customer and staff satisfaction is achieved in a motivated and cohesive environment.
Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and look for opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels going on to implement and develop strategies to improve where necessary.
Maintain SOPs and deliver training and development plans across the F&B team.
Ensure that the front and back of house F&B areas are clean and well maintained
Manage F&B stock levels and stock takes and to ensure that consumable and non-consumable goods are ordered and correctly stored and rotated.
Ensure the timely analysis of F & B Prices in relation to the competition
Oversee departmental health and safety ensuring that statutory Health, Safety & Hygiene Procedures are adhered to
This role will suit an immaculately presented candidate with good written and verbal presentation skills who is looking to eventually move into General Management.

Start: ASAP
Location: Outskirts of Cambridge
Hours: Contracted 45 hours a week
