Mechanic/Technician & MOT Tester required for independent garage in Slough, Berkshire

£24-26,000 basic salary (experience dependent)

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Mechanic/Technician and MOT Tester for their busy service and MOT centre in Slough, Berkshire.

My client requires an experienced Technician who can carry out daily duties such as routine servicing, general maintenance such as fitting brakes/clutches and MOT failure repair work. This role will predominantly be carrying out mechanical work, but will also require the successful candidate to carry out occasional MOT tests, therefore a valid MOT licence is required.

The business is an established, independently owned service and MOT centre with a busy work-flow. The friendly workshop staff are looking for another team member to join them and help the business grow further.

Candidate requirements;
Minimum of NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent
Valid MOT licence class 4 and ideally 7
Holder of a valid, full UK drivers licence
Working experience as a Mechanic/Technician
Must be able to work to a good standard and at a good pace
