Academics are currently working with two mainstream secondary schools who are currently looking to appoint learning support assistants to their SEN teams for this September.

One to one and small group work
Working within the ages 11 - 15 assisting with numeracy and literacy
Low level learners and some mild SEN requirementsBoth of these schools are located close to stations within the Surrey area.

Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants will be extremely bright and outgoing. The schools we work with are particularly keen to meet a core-subject graduate to turn complex course material into tangible content!

Based in and around Surrey, these schools are looking for high-calibre graduates who have the determination and the personality to engage learners and promote academic excellence. They have excellent travel links and have a strong ethos based around inclusivity and a well-rounded curriculum.

The Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant role

> Assisting school-wide in core subjects when required and ensure pupils are focused and behaved in class.
> Under supervision, lead 1:1 and group sessions in your degree subject, and help pupils meet targets.
> Act as a positive role model
