Marketing Executive

The main function of a marketing analyst is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Job Responsibilities:
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analysing collected data.

• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collabourating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.

• Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.

• Gather data on competitors and analyse their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.

• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programmes and strategies.

• Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.

• Direct trained survey interviewers.

• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

• Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
• 5-7 years related experience required.


* Supporting the SMM Market North, define and analyse target SKUs in R.P. Adams portfolio to provide insights to management team on SKU retention and rationalization

* Provide R.P. Adam management team with insights of product characteristics, price positioning and packaging details to allow effective and timely decision making

* Plan execution of simplification actions against agreed SKU rationalization plans.

* Construct and follow project plans that ensure agreed portfolio actions are successfully completed on time and in full

* Build and maintain relationships with business partners in supply chain and European marketing to ensure full alignment to simplification plans

Participate and contribute updates in regular reviews with R.P. Adam leadership teams and EU marketing leaders

* Effective retention and rationalisation project plans in place

* Target SKU analysis available for review

* Demonstration of relationships with key strategic business partners essential in execution of product management plans

* Product plan fully executed in line with the phase plans defined by the management team

Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)

Good communication skills (meeting minutes and actions, some comms work)

Commercial awareness (calculate margin, understand cost and price)

Attention to Detail and accuracy

Able to Work to deadlines in a fast changing environment

Understand and follow a project plan - especially product launch/lifecycle

Comfortable following day to day actions, comfortable with multiple tasks
