Description

Main purpose of role:

Account manage, the existing clients and encourage renewals when the contract is due to end.

Main duties:

Driving towards Sales targets through telephone activity, self-generation appointment setting and follow through leads generated through marketing activities

* Maximise use of diary time and planning to fully utilise time in an area and to maintain regular contact though mailing updates and other services offered

* Liaising with Head of Sales to monitor regularly the account activity in terms of usage and finance and to raise and manage any issues with the client

* Attend all account management meetings and complete call and meeting records in CRM

* Create long term business relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients.

* To maintain the company's existing relationships with our group of clients

* Identify any new markets and sales opportunities

* Working with the Marketing Team, identify new target markets and opportunities

* Attend all new business meetings generated by self, marketing executive or through in bound enquiries.

* Generate bespoke proposals within pricing parameters set out by board of directors

* Utilise and communicate with marketing to help develop marketing strategies that are appropriate to the clients future needs and to develop and market to new business areas.

* Achieve yearly targets

* Co-ordinate and set up meeting dates.

Personal qualities and skills required:

A self starter with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Flexible attitude to work arrangements

'Can Do' attitude'

Attention to detail essential

Must be well organised and disciplined and able to prioritise workload

Essential that the job holder can communicate effectively both written and orally

Qualifications/ Education:

Desired that the post holder be able to drive and hold a full clean drivers license.

Equipment/Systems:

Telephone, PC (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) CRM System
