Location: Soham office CB7, or Waterbeach Office CB25
Hours: 8.30am – 17.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £Negotiable + uncapped commission and bonus!
You will be responsible for bringing new business to the company alongside working towards financial targets. You will attend relevant courses and training to be the industry expert in your field. You will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business. It will be expected that you will attend networking events and support the business in front of clients daily. Ideally you will come from a recruitment background and maybe enjoy the sales aspects of your role over candidate management, or you will be a highly skilled salesperson looking to move into a new industry with training.
Duties will include:
• Researching the recruitment industry to ensure you are aware of current market trends
• Management of our client database (currently over 800 clients) to generate repeat business
• Cold calling to secure new clients and revenue
• Door knocking to prospects – delivering literature and promotional materials
• Attending networking events on a weekly basis
• Attending trade shows and exhibitions
• Working closely with the marketing executive to come up with new marketing campaign ideas
• Generation of client meeting appointments
• Management of own diary
• Attending client meetings
• Negotiation of terms of business
• Updating of the CRM with new contact details, address changes, new prospects
• Management of pipeline and ensuring follow up calls are made
• Producing sales reports for weekly meetings
• Working closely with account managers to ensure client liaison is continued
Skills and Experience:
• Recruitment industry background would be highly desirable although NOT essential
• Proven experience of hitting targets related to bringing in new business
• Sales mind-set, able to gather and hunt down new opportunities
• Well presented for client facing aspects of the role
• Professional business acumen with desire to play a key part in the senior management team
• Full UK Driving licence
• Positive outlook and ability to remain positive always
• Enjoys being part of a team / family run organisation playing a key role
