We are currently recruiting for an Transport Administrator/Customer Service Representative for our prestige client based in Wardley Manchester, our client is an market leading company operating in the logistics sector. Currently employing over 17000 people across 200 locations and with a annual turmover in excess of £1.2billion this a fabulous company to work for.

Reporting to the Manager, the Ops Admin Team Member will be responsible for a variety of administrative activities and Customer service to support both operational and management information functions.

This is a rolling week Temporary Position. £12ph Umbrella. Around 40 hours per week. Must be flexible.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Provide excellent service to all customers;

* Effective query resolution;

* Ensure 100% accuracy to avoid financial exposure;

* Build and maintain effective working relationships;

* Represent at meetings;

* Provide general administration support, as required, to assist in the efficient running of the operational administration team;

* Ensure various deadlines are met within the team and wider network;

The Person:

* Experience of customer service, preferably in an Transport/ Fuel environment;

* Experience of Transport Management Systems (Ortec);

* Excellent interpersonal skills;

* Excellent telephone manner;

* Strong organisational skills;

* Diplomatic and sensitive at handling conflict;

* Flexible approach to working patterns;

* Have the drive and commitment to see tasks through to completion;

* Ability to work under pressure;

* Ability to respond appropriately to customer requirements;

* PC Skills – MS Office preferred
