The Role – KS3 SEMH Teacher

For this KS3 SEMH Teacher role you will be required to plan and deliver your own lessons following the National Curriculum to a small class of 7 students, who all have an EHCP and have SEMH needs. Due to the students needs, the ideal KS3 SEMH Teacher must have previous experience working with challenging behaviour and ideally have experience working in a special school or a PRU. This SEMH School are specifically looking for a teacher that has experience teaching the primary curriculum even though this is a secondary based role.

The School – SEMH School

Found in the borough of Wandsworth, this SEMH School caters for students aged between 11-19 years and all students that attend the school have an EHCP. They are lucky enough to have recently moved into a purpose built facility that ensures that all students’ needs are met to a high standard. They currently have 90 students on role and in their last Ofsted 3 months ago (2019), they were reviewed as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.
