Senior Residential Support Worker

Based in various locations around Greater Manchester

Temporary - Permanent

Shift Pattern: Rolling Rota

£9.75-£10.50ph

Minimum of 6 months experience required as a Senior Support Worker

Full Driving licence is essential

Time Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the leading providers for supporting children and young people through trauma.

This support worker position will include behaviour management and provide support in all areas/activities of daily living.

As a support worker you will be working with a team of management in an enriching environment with children going through trauma in their lives.

The successful support worker will need to be supportive, caring and have the ability to bring the best out of the children in their care. Longevity in post in critical with regards to these roles due to the nature of your work.

Shift rotation as follows:

5 week rolling rota, 40 hours per week rota plus 29 hours per month compulsory overtime (this comprises sleep shifts, 1 per week and mandatory training),

The ideal support worker must have the following qualifications

* GCSE Maths& English- A-C or equivalent or above

* QCF Level 3- Children's and Young Peoples Workforce, completed or willing to complete within 6 months
