JOB – Manufacturing Engineer

LOCATION – Hampshire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis in Hampshire with relevant experience in a Production or Manufacturing position. This position will be within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified to at least HNC/HND or relevant 3+ years’ experience in Engineering, Scientific or Manufacturing.
Working experience of a Production / Manufacturing position previously.

Experience of improving manufacturing processes.
Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management.

Good knowledge of a manufacturing environment.

Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience of using Microsoft products e.g. Excel, word.
Ability to work independently as well as team.
The main duties of Manufacturing Engineer role will involve:

Leading process improvement tasks.
Carrying out process and product introduction through process trials.
Identify critical path issues and address to improve process flow.
Minimise / reduce product waste.
Participate in continuous improvement programmes throughout production department.
