Assembly fitter - ASAP start - COMPETITIVE PAY - Permanent role!

I have an urgent requirement for a multi-skilled fitter for a company based on the outskirts of Braintree, Essex.

As an assembly fitter you will be working with the current workforce to help meet their current production demands. This can involve working with various manual & power tools as well as machinery when necessary. You will also be expected to assist in the general upkeep of the workshop as well as the loading & unloading of deliveries.

MUST HAVE experienced with various hand & power tools as well as able to work on one's own initiative.

You will be predominantly assembling steel balconies so anyone who has experience within structural fabrication would be of extreme interest.

Ideally the successful applicant will be able to read & work from CAD drawings, however, as an absolute minimum it is essential to that any applicants have previous assembly / mechanical / fitting experience.

MUST HAVE previous counter balance forklift experience as you will occasionally work in the yard assisting in the loading & unloading of deliveries. The company are prepared to put the successful candidate through the relevant forklift tickets.

Standard hours, Monday Friday, with overtime available.

This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
