Reporting to the Operations Director, this new leadership role will focus on providing commercial expertise to support business growth.

The Role:

The Commercial AD will utilise their extensive experience to ensure contracts are cost effective, gross profit is maximised and minimise commercial risk. This will involve supporting successful commercial outcomes of the project, implementing the commercial strategy and applying best commercial practice. You will take a lead role in all commercial aspects of the bid and contract negotiation process.

Skills / Experience Required:

We’re looking for someone who uses high levels of initiative, who will continually develop and execute our strategy, holds strong problem solving skills and works closely with business partners. You must have a good understanding of the legalities of a contract and contract claim procedures. Monitor and report accurately on progress, contractual risks and associated mitigation.

You will need to display:

* Understanding of marginal pricing techniques and options

* Confident communicator with strong negotiating skills

* Strategic thinking

* Experience of managing and developing teams to deliver commercial and competitive advantage

* Ideally qualified Quantity Surveyor within an Industrial Services / M&E contracting environment.

* Experience of analysis and appraising complex statistical information.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
