The Role: With a national remit across the UK, the successful Technical Sales Manager will be selling predominantly into manufacturers of coatings, chemicals, rubbers, plastics etc – in the industrial process sector. You will be talking to technicians, production engineers and purchasing teams, mainly looking after a great set of existing accounts.

The Company: This family owned company holds excellent market share and is poised for more growth with their requirement for a new Technical Sales Manager. They have nearly six decades of experience in distributing a full range of both commodity and specialist chemicals to the manufacturing sector. They provide a local, personalised service – whilst displaying global strength as a business partner.

For this Technical Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

* Strong commercial sales skills

* You will have a track record of selling chemicals or have a chemical engineering related qualification and sales experience in a separate field

* Excellent rapport building skills, an engaging personality, and flexibility to be a team player

Benefits of this Technical Sales Manager role:

* £45,000 - £65,000 Base Salary

* Bonus Scheme (to be discussed at interview stage)
