Vida Education have been approached by an excellent secondary school located just outside Blackpool to recruit a well driven, inspirational teacher of English, starting from September 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity to flourish skills and gain valuable experience.

This is a full time teaching position.

The high-standard secondary school is looking for a confident individual with a motivational method of teaching who can encourage students to perform to the best of their abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to perform and maintain a high quality standard of teaching, have an understanding of 11-16 year old students and be dedicated to making students succeed.

In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:

* Be able to teach both KS3 and KS4 to a high standard

* Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualifications

* Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum

* Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students

The candidate must have an Enhanced DBS as this is an un-negotiable requirement due to the importance of safeguarding and child welfare. This can be discussed further upon application.
