Search is delighted to support its global business services client in their recruitment of an HR Advisor for a maternity cover contract (12 months) in the Liverpool area.

Working in a growing, progressive office environment, you will work alongside a wider HR team and will be responsible for all generalist HR activities for your Liverpool-based client group. As such, your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Proactively deliver high quality and timely HR guidance and support to all employees across the group

• Partner with line managers to drive performance across the organisation

• Lead on all ER casework for your client group

• Use a data-centric approach to proactively monitor and reduce attrition and long term absence

• Coach and up skill line management at all levels to ensure adherence to compliance and policies

• Assist line management with recruitment and retention practices

• Provide recommendations to the wider HR function for HR policy amendments and development

• Deliver regular communication of HR matters to senior directors

• Partner with the wider HR function on proactive HR projects

This is a true generalist role with a high volume of varied ER casework. It would best suit an HR professional with strong employment law, wide-ranging ER casework experience up to senior management level and a background in a B2B environment.

To be successful in the role of HR Advisor you will ideally reside within a commutable distance from Liverpool and possess the following experience:

• Superb knowledge of UK employment law

• Demonstrable experience of leading on varied and complex ER casework in a head office or similar environment

• Proven senior stakeholder relationship management experience up to Senior Management level

• Familiarity with HR data and metrics with the ability to summarise trends and communicate to line management

• Proven experience in delivering a proactive HR offering

• Strong influencing skills with the ability to coach and up skill management at all levels

• Willingness to travel (UK) up to two times per month as and when the need arises

• CIPD L5 or above
