Barr Personnel have done it again! We have entered into a new client relationship, breaking further new ground in the Haulage and Distribution sector. Our new customer is an innovative leader in their field and thus needs the very best HGV Class 2 driver the Bury St. Edmunds and surrounding area can offer.....

You'll need to be an experienced Class 2, Multi-drop driver, facilitating sack barrowing deliveries of Fresh/Frozen meat into Butchers shops.

The position requires between 10-20 drops a day average, Monday to Friday, some drops will have a couple of cases, whereas some have a tonne or more. Every Lorry is fitted with a Tail Lift, Pallet Truck and Sack Barrow.

4am – 5am start depending on day - NO WEEKEND Work (except around Christmas) and no bank holidays except Good Friday.

Paid 45 hours per week, even if they only work 35, but if they go over 45, they get over time. Over time is paid after 45 hours NOT daily.

You'll need to be smart in appearance, have an excellent grasp of English, written and spoken. The role will entail delivering to the same customers every week, so the ability to develop a good rapport with each customer is essential.

Areas he would be covering are Cambridge (Monday + Thursday), Colchester (Tuesday), Great Yarmouth (Wed. and Fri.)

This is a Temp-to-perm position leading to full employment, increase in wage and all the usual benefits and extras.

This position is anticipated to start as soon as the very best candidate has been identified.
