My client is a designer and manufacturer of bespoke equipment and pilot plants for industrial and academic research customers. The client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer who is enthusiastic, passionate and driven to lead the Process Engineering team.

As a Senior Process Engineer you will be responsible for:
> Developing the conceptual design of process solutions for a wide range of industries
> Working with other company functions and suppliers to build technical and commercial proposals
> Business development meetings with potential clients
> Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers
> Driving the design, build and commissioning of the equipment in conjunction with > Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Engineers
> Planning and executing commissioning and functional testing
> Line management of other Engineers
> Short- and medium-term resource planning and scheduling
> Providing input into Company-wide strategy

Requirements for Senior Process Engineer:
> Minimum of 5 years' industry experience including experience of conceptual design, manufacture and commissioning projects
> Degree in relevant engineering discipline (preferably Chemical Engineering)
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> Chartered status is desirable

The successful candidate will be:
> Confident in presenting their ideas and strategy for a project clearly to both technical and non-technical client representatives.
> Able to demonstrate a high level of accountability for their work in prior roles
> Able to demonstrate application of lessons they have learnt across roles and preferably across industries or projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of bespoke engineering products from inception through to completion. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of engineering projects and work with customers to ensure timely delivery.
