Technical Production Engineer

Wolverhampton

Permanent

£30,000 – £40,000 per annum (based on experience)

Our client based in Wolverhampton are currently looking for a Technical Production Engineer to be apart of their growing company. The successful candidate will be required for processing and planning of orders for machined bespoke bolting components for various industries including but not limited to; Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore, Nuclear and Defence.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications

* Ability to read dimensional standards and drawings

* Have and understanding of various types of steel, various forms of mechanical testing, non-destructive examinations and various types of coating systems

* Liaise with internal departments

* Liaise with subcontractors and customers

* Experience in a similar industry or role is advantageous

* Experience with the use of an ERP system advantageous

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages

Skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Read technical drawings

* Methodical

* Must be computer literate

* Good level of interpersonal skills

* Good planning, organising and prioritising skills

* Ability to make decisions

* Ability to use initiative

* Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

* High level of honesty and integrity

* Flexible due to the nature of the business

Hours - 42.5 hours Monday – Friday
