English Teacher
Secondary English Teacher required – September 2019 – Bolton
£110 - £170 per day

This exciting Secondary English Teacher position available for an initial 12-month position is the perfect opportunity to join a traditional and desirable secondary school in the Bolton area.

Are you a lover of the English language? As a passionate English Teacher are you able to foster a love of literature among young people?

The school are looking for a passionate and highly motivated teacher to join their sizeable English department. The large department means that there are many opportunities to support each other and share resources as well as utilising a specialist English intervention teacher. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 English to classes across a range of abilities. Lessons should engage and challenge students in order to provide opportunity for good progress to be made.

This Ofsted 'Good' school has a proud tradition of providing students with a forward thinking and nurturing learning environment. Through high quality teaching and learning, pastoral care and a wide range of opportunities for enrichment the school aims to raise aspirations, deliver successful results and develop young people into well rounded, caring citizens.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs

To be considered for this English Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum including the new GCSE

Additional requirements:
Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
